MDS – Shadow Technique

Good morning all – today is my first day back at school and I’ve got to get movin – glad you could pop in from Helen’s blog – I’m sure you were impressed with her entry today!  This was a quick card to do – and it’s so easy to move the second “shadow” image to just where you want it in MDS – and you can play around with the colors as well.  I haven’t tried MDS 2 but my upline (she’s so current!) says it’s wonderful – so I’m going to get it this month!  Next on the blog hop is Pam’s blog – go see what she has created for today’s challenge.

Riding Hood Red Challenge

I’d like to welcome Helen to our blog hop.  Thanks for coming on over from her blog!  Many of the gals from the Sunny Morning Chat group met her at Convention and she is now a regular with us.  Come join in the chat over at Butternut Sage at 10 am mornings M-F.  This week the challenge is to use Riding Hood Red and I picked the twosome Baja Breeze and So Saffron as the accompaniments.  I tried the shaving cream technique  on Whisper White – then ran it through with the new embossing folder from Holiday caty ~ Lacy Brocade.  I liked the colors so much I didn’t want to cover them up so I used a sheet of acetate to add the message  from Swirls & Curls Verses(retired Hostess) and the flower from Reason to Smile with Staz-On black ink.  Ribbon is retired but matches so well I just had to use it.  Next on the hop – check out what Pam has on her blog!
