Glad you could join the hop today. I know Helen has a great post – Mine is going to have to be quick – I’m not in love with this and I cased it from someone (thank you, but I can’t remember who). She used red, but I tried the wild wasabi. Now hop on over to Sandy’s blog – I know she’s had her card ready for a couple of days! Happy Holidays all.
Glad you could jump over from Joni’s blog – I’m looking forward to following her – I admire the way she combines challenges! Oh boy – I hope I can remember how to do all of this – it’s been a few months since I’ve posted – sorry, school has kept me hopping! I love this color combination. I cased this from crazykim on SCS , adding the butterflies and using the scorepal instead of an embossing folder. I did search the web for this folder and found it – of course it’s European, and of course everyone is “out of stock” – so I put on my thinking cap and made a similar design myself. I measured around the outer edges at a 1/4 inch and then 1/2 inch alternating – I used a tack in the middle and rotated the cs and scored, moved and scored keeping the center stationary [see below] – now hop on over to my good friend Sandy’s blog – I know she has something special for us to peek at.I sponged with Isand Indigo and Lucky Limeade – used Just Believe and Perfect Punches with versamark and white embossing powder, then punched with the 2 1/2 inch circle punch. CS used: whisper white, LL & II with daffodil delight butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits. It was hard to leave ribbon off, but I thought it had enough just as it is. Thanks for stopping in. I’ll try to be more faithful in posting.
