Happy New Year everyone! Our challenge today is to use Pink Pirouette w/Sahara Sand & Always Artichoke or Pool Party/Crumb Cake. I wanted to do a flower and needed green for the leaves, so I went w/the first combo. The added twist this week is to add ‘sparkle‘ for the new year so I used silver glimmer paper. I hope your year is filled with love, hope, happiness and inspiration to craft. Now it’s time to head over to Sandy’s blog and see what she whipped up. Recipe: SAB sneak peek – Sweet Sorbet dsp, paper doily sizzlit, Pretty Print Textured Impressions EF, hand made flower sponged, MB elegant scrollwork die, CLD Tropical Flourish die.
And a Merry Christmas to all! I chose smoky slate & pool party to accompany pear pizzaz. A post on Christmas Day just cried for this image – the photo does not show the sparkle on the star – but it is a rhinestone. I used the retired but wonderful stamp set Come To Bethlehem (thanks Sandy). I should be the last stop on the hop this week, but if you missed any one, head over to our trusty leader Robbie’s blog and you can start at the beginning.
Join our blog hop today where we are using Marina Mist with Real Red/Old Olive or Crumb Cake/Cajun Craze with the addition of a holiday spirit sentiment. I’m excited to announce that my daughter Hillary has signed up as a demo and is now getting into stamping. This is a set (Wishing You from the holiday mini) that she ordered and I got to borrow briefly. It will make a good birthday image too! Red glimmer paper really adds a sparkle & I had to try out my new Deco label framelits. If you arrived from Joni’s blog I hope you left a nice comment for her. We all like hearing from our viewers. Now slip-slide on over to Ice Mountain Designs where Sandy has been hunkered down on her mountain – I’m sure she has a great entry.
All this snow has me in a ‘flaky’ mood – our challenge is to use Calypso Coral with Blushing Bride/Pink Pirouette or Wild Wasabi/Choc Chip and add a snowflake. I used the stamp set For The Birds w/Smokey Slate for my background color. I hope all my stampin friends had an easier time with this challenge than I did – I’m sure if you hopped here from Joni’s blog – hers is stunning as always. Now hop on over to Sandy’s blog – I’m sure you will be impressed – I have a hint as to what she has been using, but will keep it a secret.
Join our blog hop where our challenge was to use Blushing Bride w/Pear Pizzazz & Early Espresso or Perfect Plum/Sahara Sand with the additional twist of using lace. If you just hopped over from Joni’s blog then I’m sure you liked her creation. To see the next wonderful entry, hop on over to Sandi’s blog and check out her entry for this week’s challenge.
