Seeds #3 – So many greens . . .

This weeks challenge was to use the colors below – inspired by the Seeds  picture Laura selected.  The blooms on the flowers are real red, though they don’t photograph very well.  Watercoloring successfully still evades me, as does brayering.  Laura was before me and Sandy is after me on the hop this week.greens 020CDTL 5 - 21 - 2014mds-001.jpgLaura 1.png

Today our challenge comes from the Seeds selection Amanda suggested.  The colors are very muted and allow for a relaxing scheme.  The added challenge is to add layers of rectangles.  I have to credit Firefly Cards for the inspiration – I pretty much cased her card but flipped the blue and tan.  You should have arrived from Joni’s blog and now can hop over Sandy’s blog.

Our challenge this week is a new one.  We have totally gone through the Color Coach and are now using a new resource to get color combinations – it’s called color seeds and has lots of wonderful ideas and pictures to help with creative combinations.  I used 4 of the 6 colors.  Hope you like my creation.  Before me on the hop was Laura and I am last this week.NEW CDTL 5 - 7 - 2014_2_2-001LIZ (1)
