Color Blog Hop – Bubbles

Baked Brown Sugar ~ Melon Mambo ~ Tempting Turquoise ~ Pear Pizzazz ~ Pistachio Pudding ~ Smoky Slate – an interesting set of colors – quite a challenge for me this week  . . . as I searched for something to make that reminded me of the inspiration piece “Bubbles” I found too many new things I wanted and ended up ordering $120 in new product – I really got hooked on balloons – stamps, dies, stencils etc.  They won’t arrive in time for this posting so I went with the retired Medallion stamp and watercolor paper to try and achieve the translucent feel.  Thanks for popping  in – you should have arrived from  Joni’s blog and next is my great friend Sandy – can’t wait for craft day this Friday when we get to have fun all day!

I know several of our ladies are busy attending convention this week.  I appreciate you stopping by to check out my card.  I used salt to get a mottled look.  I picked this color combo and am pleased with the way the colors work together.  You should have arrived from Joni’s blog and can continue on the hop by heading over to Sandy’s blog.

Color Blog Hop – 4th of July Colors

july 003Our hop this week features Robbie’s choice (and a very good one in my opinion) – colors to celebrate the 4th of July.  My youngest son turns 23 this week and this is a special card for him.  The image is an old stamp I picked up for $1.oo that I have been wanting to use for a couple of years.  Everything else is current SU stock. The Paper Tole technique was used.  As we celebrate our independence, please thank those that have made it possible.  You should have arrived Joni’s blog  here from and need to continue on to Sandy’s blog.  Thanks for visiting.
