Sorry everyone – I just ran out of time – impending snow, making plans, changing plans for Thanksgiving – shopping for stuff a day earlier than I anticipated. Well enough with the excuses . . . I’m sure my fellow bloggers came up with some fantastic entries this week – you should have seen Joni’s blog before hopping here – and now continue on to Sandy’s blog for what I’m certain is a wonderful creation. Happy Thanksgiving to all – and prayers for safe travels for you and your loved ones. I feel very blessed and thankful . . . my online crafting buddies are one of my favorite groups of people and I love being challenged to create with you each week.
Welcome to my entry for this challenge. Hope everyone is staying warm . . . brrrrr! I might have a lot of time for crafting if the outlook for the east coast winter holds true. I’m sure you have been to Joni’s site already – wonder what she did with these colors. Next hop on over to Sandy’s site – yeah – she’s back! Most of what I used on my card today is retired – but they are all oldies but goodies. Thanks for stopping by.
For this challenge I enjoyed playing with another new set . . . pictogram punches – so darn cute. I think it will see a lot of use! I went with perfect plum, soft sky, pistachio pudding (the stems/leaves), soft suede and black . The saying is the perfect size for this small gift card and is from the hostess set Bloom With Hope. The final addition ~ coordinating candy dots. You should have arrive by way of Joni’s wonderful blog. Leave her a comment today! Thanks for stopping in – I’m last again but if you missed any of the girls pop on over the Robbie’s blog – she is the beginning. I’m looking forward to having my stampin’ buddy back – I believe she should be stateside by now! Welcome home Sandy!
Welcome to our color blog hop. You should have arrived from Joni’s site . . . I’m wondering what themes the gals picked for this week. I really struggled with these colors, and greens should be easy! Oh well, my entry this week will probably surprised everyone – who would think of SNOW from this image and these colors (see below)??? It has gotten colder here, and I finally aquiesced and brought in my plants Saturday night. For my post today I got to play with a new tool – the star punch. I layered some champagne glitter paper behind them – and popped the layer up on dimensionals – then double and triple popped the other layers. All three greens are used – but they refused to show up until I used clear ep! Just had to include a pop of gold as a token to the yellow flowers. I am again at the end of the hop. Sandy is still basking in New Zealand, although she says they are now at a higher elevation and a bit north so it is colder. If you missed anyone hop on over to Robbie’s blog – she is the beginning.
