Todays inspiration photo seems more pink to me, but I went with our agreed upon color pallet. I have to admit I am finally ‘snow‘ satisfied – we got 7+ inches on Saturday and this morning it was a whopping ‘zero’. I am ready for spring! You should have arrived from Joni’s site and next up is Sandy – I know she has a pretty card in the wings.
. . . and a WARM hello to you! Thanks for poppin’ in – I hope this spring card will bring hope of things to come ~ yes birds, flowers, warm breezes which we do not have here in the east right now. A friend is in the hospital and I thought this might cheer her up. I played with my new-to-me Party Pennants bigz die (I’ve had it for a few weeks ~ picked it up when it was on the weekly special). I don’t know about you, but I can hold out a long time for items over $30 – but I’ve wanted this one ever since it came out. Sometimes things are sweeter when you have waited a long time to get them. I got the beautiful Painted Blooms dsp free for booking workshops – it is prettier in person – and the Something Borrowed dsp is very versatile (great for workshops because you get 4 sheets of each pattern). Of course the butterfly is from Butterfly Basics and the matching framelits, greeting is from A Dozen Thoughts embellished with Petite Petals. Joni was before me – hop back if you missed her lovely entry and Sandy is next.
Welcome to our color blog hop – you should have arrived from Joni’s blog and to continue head on over to Sandy’s blog. I’ll have to keep this short – I am still recuperating from my daughter’s wedding. Getting back to the real world is taking some time – which includes crafting. This is not one of my favorite creations, but will work for a Valentine’s card if needed. Petite Petals, Seasonally Scattered, non-su embossing folder were used.
Today is a special day . . . it is my first born’s birthday and it is also the day we go to the flower warehouse to pick up a huge order of flowers for her wedding – which is fast approaching on Feb. 7th! Soooo, tonight and tomorrow we will be flower arranging day and night – my house should smell very fragrant! I cased this card from Gayle Wheeler, Joni’s blogsite was before me today ~ keep hopping to continue to Sandy’s blogsite. This card features Flower Flourishes & Bloom With Hope (how appropriate for the day), and Sweet Essentials (retired). I used Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler (cs & blendies) and Whisper White (cs & ep).
