Color Blog Hop Oct. 28, 2015

Welcome to the hop this week – quite an interesting color combo – a stretch for me – I need some green or yellow at this wonderful fall season – but here we go!  I hope you enjoyed viewing Joni’s entry – next, go check out what Sandy did this week.  I know what I want to make, but a new puppy, 3 workshops and parent teacher conferences got in the way of my card – sorry, I’ll post both next week.

IMG_0665Welcome hoppers – you should have arrived from Joni’s and next up is SandyROBBIE -229214890909b.  I am very curious to see what all our crafting ladies whipped up this week.  The photo does not go so much with the colors – it looks very green to me.  Anyway here is my card using the new leaf stamp set and framelits.

Hi Hoppers – you should have already seen what wonders Joni created today for our color challenge.  Be sure to continue on and check out what Sandy has whipped up – I’m sure it’s stunning.  My card today uses a set from last year – Wonderous Wreath.  To get more of the Very Vanilla, I used white embossing powder for the additional set of leaves, and then I used to Iridescent Ice to give it the shimmery/frosty look like the flowers in our photo (click on the photo and it will enlarge and you will see it better). My butterflies are done in calypso coral.  I’m happy to be sending this card to one of my favorite teacher friends at school.  Enjoy the last of our warm weather  . . . frost is in the forecast.  I do have my outdoor Halloween decorations up –  maybe I’ll post a photo next week with my card 🙂IMG_0663LIZ ColorDew_418163932b

Howdy Hoppers!  You should have popped over from Joni’s blog and to continue go to Sandy’s blog.  For this week’s colors I used some punches & sponging and the retired stamp set Beauty of the Season.  I CASed this card from Zindorf – her’s is prettier, but this turned out close.  I love the primitive look.69738392bColorDwell4IMG_0662
