31725757bHello hoppers – isn’t this a beautiful inspiration piece?  Robbie really picked a great one for us.  You should have just left Joni’s blog – and I’m last this week, so if you missed anyone, head on over to Robbie’s blog and start from the beginning.  I’m excited to see how we all tried to infuse the sun rays in our pieces this week.  I did a good deal of research and decided to go with a watercolor technique using Work of Art.  I used some shimmery white card stock because I wanted the surface smooth for the rest of the stamping, but it needed to be able to take the water.  It really shimmers in person.  Sprinkles of Life and Thoughtful Branches are the other sets I used.

6514664b-1 Thanks for taking a spin around our blog hop.  You should have just seen what Joni posted and next is Sandy.  I can’t wait to see her post – we’ve been chatting and I think we have some thoughts in common on this one, but maybe not!  My card was inspired by this card:

I tried a new faux technique where you stamp directly onto the embossing folder.  I think I’ll try it again because I’d like to see a bit more of the stamp.  For a first try this one is a good start.img_0784

Howdy folks – I’m keeping it short today – my arm doesn’t like a lot of things these days, and typing is unfortunately one of the many actions it revolts against!  You should have come via Joni’s and Sandy is up next.  I used Thoughtful branches on this with copper foil, copper embossing powder and copper thread. Click on picture and you will see the detail.   There is candy inside the box :-).    I stamped Peakaboo Peach on like cardstock.  I’m looking forward to fall temperatures!  I have faith it will cool off   soon!img_0783
